Frequently Asked Questions

Where does this session take place?
There’s no travelling or need to get dressed up. This is a virtual meeting where we can speak via online conference, so all you’ll need is a headset, wifi and either a desktop, laptop, smartphone or tablet.
What do I need to do to prepare for my call?

If we feel we need any documentation or information before we speak, we will contact you. However, this is rarely needed so don’t worry about preparing anything unless we request it. All you need to do right now is schedule the time you’ve selected in your own diary.

We’d recommend you create time to collect your thoughts at least 10 minutes before our call is due to start and grab yourself a glass of water or cup of tea/coffee. Plus schedule another 20 to 30 minutes after our call to allow you process our discussion and diarise the actions we decide you should take.

Finally, you’ll need a notebook and pen for taking notes and make sure you’re in a place that you won’t be disturbed. Don’t book this session while you’re travelling, for example, or working in a public place such as a coffee shop. This is your time to work ON your business, not IN your business.

How long is the session?

This one-off session is scheduled to run from 30 to 45 minutes. If we feel you still need further support or guidance, we can, of course, discuss how working in one of my programmes may be able to help grow your business. This is often how many of our clients come to work with us but there’s absolutely no obligation to take things further; especially if your plan turns out to be easy enough for you to execute by yourself.

Are you going to sell to me during this call?

Yes, these calls are often how many of our clients come to work with us but there’s absolutely no obligation to take things further; especially if what we discuss on your call turns out to be simple enough for you to execute on your own. We can absolutely discuss Momentum with you, our business growth programme, and you can check out the full details of the programme here. 

But rest assured, if we do make a recommendation that Momentum is right for you, you will never have to make a final decision on this initial call with us. For some of our clients, they knew instantly that registering for our one year programme was absolutely the right thing for them. But for others, you want the time to process, do your due diligence or even discuss it with a partner.

And yes, we know some business coaching companies do put pressure on you to say YES right there and then on these initial Discovery Calls. This is why we are up front at the start to say that is NOT how we operate.
