Session 1 – Your True Profit Business Blueprint

Is your business fulfilling you or burning you out? Discover which areas of your business are out of kilter with you and the way that you work. It’s not always the case of “just work harder” as not all business models and marketing ideas are going to work for you. Once you connect in with who you are, what’s important to you about what you do and the time, energy and resources you have to grow your business, you can get in flow and grow with ease.

You will also be introduced to the 4 True Profit Growth Pillars that will support your bigger game plans and the 3 phases of business growth so you know exactly what to be focusing on at each stage.

Session 2 – Growth Mindset

What does it take to think differently about you and your business? What got you here, won’t get you there. And what worked last year, won’t necessarily work again this year. In every sector and profession, technology, social interactions and buying habits are changing rapidly. So you can’t approach 2018 with the same mindset as you had in 2017.

This will be a fun and entertaining way of experiencing a different perspective and how this can impact how you think about your own business opportunities and future strategy.

Session 3 – The Client OnBoarding Process

Process is one of the 4 True Profit Growth Pillars and a key area for systemising is your sales and marketing. Lead generation and prospecting is usually the first place most business owners focus on but the Client OnBoarding Process is rarely looked at. First impressions of how you work with your client can make or break your long-term relationship. And when you spend money, time and resources attracting a new client, it makes financial sense to ensure you invest in a process that helps them come back for more and become a raving fan of your business.

Session 4 – Strategic Alliances

Knowing how to develop partnerships with other people can open up huge opportunities to reach wider audiences, reach global markets and increase your profitability. This practical session will show you how to join forces, collaborate and run joint venture marketing campaigns with other businesses.

Hi, I’m Karen Skidmore, and my mission is to love and play our way to profitable, sustainable and scalable business.

I’ve been running my own coaching and consulting company since 2004. After an 11-year career with Hays Plc, my children were approaching school age and I realised how much I wanted a more flexible and fulfilling professional career.

Within 6 months of starting up, I had been awarded European Social Funds for my Women’s Enterprise Programme and Simply Marketing Workshops, which was instrumental in helping hundreds of women start up their own businesses across Surrey & Sussex. I founded a regional women’s networking group in 2005, created & ran a 100+ membership site for 3 years and launched dozens of online courses and group programmes over the past 13 years.

But in 2012, struggling with adrenal fatigue and hormonal imbalances, I was knackered from constantly launching new programmes and marketing campaigns. I wanted to play a bigger game but to enable my business to grow and for me to serve more people, it was no longer a case of “work harder”. I had to change the way I and my business worked. And it soon became apparent that my clients wanted this same change.

Through GID School, Momentum and Ignite, I’ve created the framework and community to allow entrepreneurs, professionals and creatives to simplify their businesses; to show them how to love and play their way to a profitable, sustainable and scalable business without the process impacting their health, wellbeing or family commitments.

What are your booking terms and conditions?

In a nutshell, all tickets are non-refundable two weeks before the event, although if you can’t attend at short notice, you’d be welcome to pass your ticket to friend or colleague (simply let us know their name before the event so we know to expect them). In an unlikely situation that we have to cancel, full refunds will be issued to everyone.

Where exactly is the venue?

Elvetham isn’t simply a stunning events venue in Hampshire, Elvetham is actually a region of approximately 8,000 acres in the Hampshire countryside.

Situated in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, it’s also incredibly easy to find and get to.

Just 10 minutes drive from Junction 5 of the M3 and 5 minutes from Fleet train station that is serviced by a fast service out of London Waterloo.

The nearest airport is Southampton, 45 minutes taxi away.

What the logistics for the day?

Want to get there early and avoid the morning traffic?

The Elvetham has a lovely lounge area so if you wanted to avoid the Friday morning traffic, you’d be welcome to arrive early to hang out, enjoy the free wifi and soak up the atmosphere.

Food and Refreshments

Coffee, tea & morning goodies are being served from 9 am, ready for us to get going at 9.30am.

You are being fully catered for as we are giving you morning goodies, lunch and afternoon tea. And yes, they can cater for all dietary requirements. We’ll be asking you to confirm this before you arrive on the day.

Although we plan to finish the day by 5 pm, if you did absolutely have to leave at the afternoon tea break because of a school pick-up, we can arrange for you to do your end-of-day session as homework.

Staying on after the event

If you are worried about getting caught in Friday night traffic, stay on and join me and my team in the bar. We will be winding down and enjoying a glass of “something” in front of the log fire.
