Hi, I’m Karen Skidmore and I work with Game Changers; business owners who want to play bigger, change up how they make a difference and challenge me with their bravery to be seen.

The problem with changing up your game is that playing bigger exposes you. It can make you feel vulnerable and the crap that you believe about yourself allows you to doubt your true potential to make a difference.

And when you have no one to keep you accountable to that bigger vision and desire to do more, you shrink back and stay small and safe.

And this is where I can help.

The value I bring is the ability to see strategically how to design your business, where the potentially easy revenue opportunities and marketing systems are that flow with your communication style, energy flow and personality type, as well as the Sorceress gift of simplifying the complicated.

Once we have that vision and plan in place, my job is to keep people like you to account, to challenge you if I sense fear or vulnerability kicking you off course, as well as to keep a check of your energy flow to ensure you don’t burn out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does this session take place?
There’s no travelling or need to get dressed up. This is a virtual meeting where we can speak via online conference, so all you’ll need is a headset, wifi and either a desktop, laptop, smartphone or tablet.
What do I need to do to prepare for my call?

If I feel I need any documentation or information before we speak, I will contact you. However, this is rarely needed so don’t worry about preparing anything unless I request it. All you need to do right now is schedule the time you’ve selected in your own diary.

I’d recommend you create time to collect your thoughts at least 10 minutes before our call is due to start and grab yourself a glass of water or cup of tea/coffee. Plus schedule another 20 to 30 minutes after our call to allow you process our discussion and diarise the actions we decide you should take.

Finally, you’ll need a notebook and pen for taking notes and make sure you’re in a place that you won’t be disturbed. Don’t book this session while you’re travelling, for example, or working in a public place such as a coffee shop. This is your time to work ON your business, not IN your business.

How long is the session?
This one-off session is scheduled to run from 20 to 45 minutes. If we feel you still need further support or guidance, we can, of course, discuss how working in one of my programmes may be able to help grow your business. This is often how many of my clients come to work with me but there’s absolutely no obligation to take things further; especially if your plan turns out to be easy enough for you to execute by yourself.

Hi, I'm Karen Skidmore, and my mission is to love and play our way to profitable, sustainable and scalable business.

I’ve been running my own coaching and consulting company since 2004. After an 11-year fast track career with Hays Plc, as Regional Director in the accountancy recruitment division and then Operations Director for online recruitment, my children were approaching school age and I realised how much I wanted a more flexible and fulfilling professional career.

Within 6 months of starting up, I had been awarded European Social Funds for my Women’s Enterprise Programme and Simply Marketing Workshops, which was instrumental in helping hundreds of women start up their own businesses across Surrey & Sussex. I founded a regional women’s networking group in 2005, created & ran a 100+ membership site for 3 years and launched dozens of online courses and group programmes over the past 13 years.

But in 2012, struggling with adrenal fatigue and hormonal imbalances, I was knackered from constantly launching new programmes and marketing campaigns. I wanted to play a bigger game but to enable my business to grow and for me to reach my full potential, it was no longer a case of “work harder”. I had to change the way I and my business worked. And it soon became apparent that my clients wanted this same change.

Through GID School, Momentum and The Academy, I've now created the framework and community to allow entrepreneurs, professionals, creatives and small business owners to simplify their businesses; to show them how to love and play their way to a profitable, sustainable and scalable business without the process impacting their health, wellbeing or family commitments.
