What challenges did you have before you started working with Karen?
When I first started my business in 2016, I thought I would just need a website and do a bit of networking. I gradually learnt more about marketing but after trying numerous methods I achieved very little in terms of results. What I lacked was an understanding of the most effective marketing methods which could work for me but without the exhausting process of dabbling/trying different ways of getting contacts/leads and prospects.
I also felt overwhelmed about lacking an exact method of what could work and because of that, I held back.
Why did you decide to work with Karen?
I became aware of the 10 Day Conversation Challenge through a Facebook group and signed up. But I felt that because of the position of my business I lacked any real results. However, the advice Karen gave during the Facebook lives was really useful.
I began to learn that Karen could help me with the hurdles I was encountering. My impression was that she had a really good grip on the realities of marketing a business – whichever type of business.
What has working with Karen done for you and how has it impacted your business?
Karen has given me a clear process which is now the backbone of my marketing. I recognise that some things will be trial and error but I now understand what to try and to keep that under review as well as developing a system which continually flows.
Having Karen help get the ideas flowing with copy was so useful and reassuring. It was also helpful to have the accountability and to be able to share thoughts, ideas and have support especially in relation to having/developing the right mindset.
I have started to seek new contacts on LinkedIn on a regular basis and also reach out to new connections by sharing content and promoting my clarity call. I also now have a bank of referral partners which I keep in contact with and have developed a referral process which will act as an incentive. Without this course, I would not have developed such a compelling lead offer which has received such positive feedback. This whole process has really pushed my boundaries and continues to help build my marketing confidence.
After speaking on the last call of the programme and outlining my recent achievements I feel very happy with my results so far. I think it’s easy to get too wrapped up with planned intentions without taking a step back to identify what has actually been achieved.
What has been your biggest insight from working with Karen?
Having a streamlined system with templates from a marketing expert and learning how to keep track of numbers in terms of conversions per month to run a successful business and partnership power.
And finally, if you were to share with someone who was thinking of working with Karen, what would you say to them?
I have already recommended Karen several times and given details of her website. This is following the conversations I have had which highlight so many business owners are unsure about how to develop a marketing system and the importance of following-up as part of any networking/list building process.
